Qui sommes nous?

Nous sommes Bas et Marike van Dam et nous sommes venus vivre en France avec nos trois enfants en avril 2022. La mère de Marike, Charlotte, y est une partie de l'année. Sa fille Annabel (19 ans) vit aux Pays-Bas, mais elle continue régulièrement à travailler au camping pendant la haute saison.

Nous travaillons tous dur pour construire ici une vie la plus autonome et naturelle possible et pour partager la belle partie de la France que nous avons trouvée ici avec le reste du monde sous la forme d'un camping et d'une Maison le Charme. Sois le bienvenu!

Wij zijn Bas en Marike van Dam en zijn in april 2022 vanuit Dieren, Gelderland met onze drie kinderen in Frankrijk komen wonen. De moeder van Marike, Charlotte is er een gedeelte van het jaar. Dochter Annabel (19) woont in Nederland, maar zij helpt in het hoogseizoen nog wel regelmatig op de camping.

Met z'n allen werken wij hard om hier een zo veel mogelijk zelfvoorzienend en natuurlijk leven op te bouwen en om het mooie stukje Frankrijk dat wij hier gevonden hebben, te delen met de rest van de wereld in de vorm van een camping en een Maison de Charme. Wees welkom!

We are Bas and Marike van Dam and we came to live in France from Dieren, Gelderland with our three children in April 2022. Marike's mother, Charlotte, is there part of the year. Daughter Annabel (19) lives in the Netherlands, but she still regularly helps out at the campsite during the high season.

We are all working hard to build a life here that is as self-sufficient and natural as possible and to share the beautiful part of France that we have found here with the rest of the world in the form of a campsite and a Maison the Charm.Maison the Charm. Be welcome!

Nous sommes un petit camping, mais avec un grand esprit ! Nous faisons ce que nous aimons et ce pour quoi nous excellons. En fin de compte, c'est cela qui fonctionne le mieux, d'après notre expérience.

Par exemple, Bas aime vous dire ce qu'il y a à faire dans la région, parle sans cesse de divers sujets, veille à une piscine propre, va chercher du pain le matin et propose de l'aide là où c'est nécessaire. Tout au long de l'année, Bas aide également les gens du quartier qui ont des questions sur internet, l'informatique et la téléphonie avec son entreprise Bastiaan au Secours !

Marike s'occupe des potagers, des caravanes, des sanitaires, organise la soirée repas et frites hebdomadaire en commun et anime occasionnellement un atelier ludique orienté nature et accueille des clients dans son cabinet Sensi Thérapie toute l'année. Elle donne également des séances aux visiteurs du camping.

Omi Charlotte range les caravanes, aide aux repas en commun et s'occupe d'un beau jardin bien entretenu. Elle aide réellement dans tous les domaines, ce qui est très agréable ! Il en va de même pour Annabel. Elle réalise également de très beaux bracelets qui sont en vente dans notre boutique.

Diederik (17 ans) tond le gazon, entretient le terrain et entretient la piscine. Il participe à la soirée frites et au repas commun. Il fournit également toutes sortes d'autres services.

Ferdinand (14 ans) s'occupe habituellement des animaux et des poissons presque tous les jours et amène régulièrement des enfants comme invités.

Donc à chacun son rôle :-)

Wij zijn een kleine camping, maar met een grote geest! We doen wat we leuk vinden en wat we goed kunnen. Dat werkt uiteindelijk het beste, hebben wij ervaren.

Zo vindt Bas het leuk om te vertellen wat er te doen is in de omgeving, praat honderduit over diverse onderwerpen, zorgt voor een schoon zwembad, haalt brood in de ochtend en biedt hulp daar waar het nodig is. Bas helpt het hele jaar door ook mensen hier in de omgeving die vragen hebben omtrent internet, computers en telefonie hebben met zijn bedrijfje Bastiaan au Secours!

Marike verzorgt de moestuinen, de vouwwagens, het sanitair, regelt wekelijks de gezamenlijke maaltijd & friet avond en geeft af en toe een leuke natuur-gerichte workshop en heeft het hele jaar door clienten in haar Sensi Therapie praktijk. Ze geeft ook sessies aan camping bezoekers die de balans in hun leven terug willen vinden.

Omi Charlotte maakt o.a. de vouwwagens netjes, helpt bij de gezamenlijke maaltijd en zorgt voor een mooie  verzorgde tuin. Ze helpt eigenlijk op alle vlakken, wat erg fijn is! Datzelfde geldt voor Annabel. Zij maakt ook hele mooie armbanden.

Diederik (17) maait het gras, onderhoudt het terrein en houdt het zwembad netjes. Hij helpt met de friet-avond en de gezamenlijke maaltijd. Verder doet hij allerlei andere hand en spandiensten.

Ferdinand (14) verzorgt de dieren meestal en vist bijna iedere dag waarbij hij regelmatig gasten-kinderen meeneemt.

Zo heeft iedereen zijn eigen rol:-)

We are a small campsite, but with a big spirit! We do what we like and what we are good at. That ultimately works best, in our experience.

For example, Bas likes to tell you what there is to do in the area, talks endlessly about various topics, ensures a clean swimming pool, gets bread in the morning and offers help where it is needed. Throughout the year, Bas also helps people in the area who have questions about the internet, computers and telephony with his company Bastiaan au Secours!

Marike takes care of the vegetable gardens, the trailer tents, the sanitary facilities, arranges the weekly communal meal & fries evening and occasionally gives a fun nature-oriented workshop and has clients in her Sensi Therapy practice all year round. She also gives sessions to camping visitors.

Omi Charlotte tidies up the trailer tents, helps with communal meals and takes care of a beautiful, well-maintained garden. She actually helps in all areas, which is very nice! The same goes for Annabel. She also makes very beautiful bracelets that are for sale in our shop.

Diederik (17) mows the grass, maintains the grounds and keeps the swimming pool tidy. He helps with the fries evening and the communal meal. He also provides all kinds of other services.

Ferdinand (14) usually takes care of the animals and fishes almost every day, regularly bringing along children as guests.

So everyone has their own role :-)
