Bread service

A delicious baguette or croissant for breakfast every morning? You can place your order and we will pick it up from the bakery the next day. You will receive the order list upon arrival. This is only in the months June, July, August.

Washer dryer

You can use our washing machine and dryer including detergent.

Freezer

We have a small freezer available that everyone can use to freeze cooling blocks.

Swimming pool

We have a lovely large swimming pool (chlorine) of 10x5 meters with solar outdoor shower and comfortable sun loungers. The swimming pool is not heated, but in the spring and autumn we have the covers on so that the water is heated by the sun and does not cool down.

Sanitary

Our bathroom has a toilet, shower and sink. We (just like you) love clean sanitary facilities and clean this bathroom several times a day. We also replace the bath mat and towel daily. We also have a hair dryer to use.

We also have two compost toilets spread across the site. One in the stable and one in the greenhouse. This way you can experience the real outdoors even more :-).

If you want to rinse off without shampoo, you can use the solar shower by the pool.

The washing up area is in the utility room near the bathroom. We also have a cold water washing up area at the back of the site.

Are you surprised that everything goes well with only one permanent shower and one permanent toilet for all those guests? Yes, that certainly goes well. It is only a small campsite (6 places) and most people completely relax here, so sometimes waiting a little while is no longer a problem :-).

Shared meal

We plan a shared meal a few times a week during the high season. For instance, we get pizza once a week, and there is also a fries night once a week. We eat these meals together at the large communal table in front of the house.

Dogs are welcome

Do you have a dog or two you'd like to bring on holiday? You can at our mini-campsite! A maximum of two dogs are allowed. They must be kept on a leash, as our chickens roam freely, we have four cats who love spending time outdoors, three guinea pigs, a Shetland pony, two tame ducks, and our own dog, Coco (who loves guests because they're such fun tossing balls around ;-)).

Café Le Potager 

What's more relaxing than sipping on a delicious coffee, tea, or soft drink and watching the world go by without having to do anything? You can do that at Café Le Potager!

We serve delicious espresso, cappuccino, coffee, tea, hot chocolate, homemade iced tea, and other tasty soft drinks.

Common area

We have transformed the barn into a communal space where people can play games, do crafts, read and take shelter when it rains :-). We collect some craft materials throughout the year, so the children don't have to be bored. We also have a basket with outdoor games such as badminton, beach ball, football, basketball and kubb and even a ping-pong table!

Yoga with Corine

Would you like to join a yoga class in the morning? Which can! Once a week (in July and August) Corine comes to give yoga lessons in Dutch in the forest. When the weather is less nice, it is inside the shed. You can also take additional yoga classes at her domaine, 15 minutes from the campsite.

Campfire

There is regularly a cozy communal campfire in the evening where we always provide some delicious marshmallows!

Activities

There are many fun things to do in the area, such as horse riding with Alain, swimming, canoeing, fishing, brocantes, markets, nice restaurants, climbing parks, castles, gardens, wolf park, animal park, labyrinth, cycling, performances, museums, etc.

 We will give you an overview of the best activities upon arrival.

Free WIFI

At our campsite you can use free WiFi around the swimming pool and in the general living areas.

Bicycle rental

Would you like a nice workout? A challenging bike ride with the family? Which can! We have four mountain bikes for rent. Enjoy this beautiful area by bike!

Borrow books

The holidays are the perfect time to read a book in the sun. We have a bookcase with all kinds of nice books that you can borrow.

Retreats

We have a beautiful piece of land at our campsite (2.5 hectares)—a perfect location for organizing a retreat. We have a guest room (sleeps 2) and a folding caravan (sleeps 2) available. We also have a second guest room (sleeps 2) available if needed. Please contact us to discuss the options.

Massage or Sensi Therapy session

Marike has a remarkable ability to interpret the pain in your body; when combined with a massage, this creates an enhanced effect, allowing the pain to dissipate.

You can book a one-hour massage or a 1.5-hour combined Sensi Therapy and massage session.

Guest Room

If you would like to spend your holiday here with, for example, parents or friends who do not wish to camp, they can stay in our guest room located in our main house. It is a stylishly furnished bedroom featuring a 160x200 cm bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower, toilet, and washbasin. As the room is situated within our home, guests should be comfortable with the associated sounds—such as creaking floorboards, voices, and activity in the kitchen :-).

This room is available for booking year-round, though during peak season (July/August) it can only be booked in combination with a camping pitch.

Caring for the animals!

Every child gets the chance to help look after the animals. It all starts in the morning with letting out the chickens and the duck, feeding and watering all the animals, grooming the pony, clearing up manure, collecting eggs, and much more.

This gives children—whether they love animals or are a little afraid of them—an accessible way to learn how to interact with the animals. It’s always a hit!
